The Hotel-Restaurant Hostería del Laurel is located in an Historical Building in the Heart of Santa Cruz district facing to Los Venerables Square.

During his stay in Hostería del Laurel around the year 1844, Don José de Zorilla a romantic writer of the time, was inspired by the atmosphere of the inn, into creating his famous character "Don Juan Tenorio". For this reason the history which took in the XVI century, was centered in Sevilla, where the Hostería del Laurel can still visited.

It is only 0,6 Km from the Railway Station and  15 minutes walking from the commercial and historical centre.  There is also a bike-lane and a rent-a-bike station close to the Hotel. It has been designed in a modern and minimalist style, respectful of the urban environment of Santa Lucía Square, a particularly attractive place in Seville, tinted with a strong Romanesque flavour.

The Hotel is located in the Heart of the city. The streets surrounding are known as Sevilla’s commercial and community centre. The House, dated back to the 19th Century, has gone through a very carefull restoration, always taking special consederation to maintain the lounges and the surroundings intact. The house belonged to the poet J. Antonio Cavestany (1861-1924) a member of the Real Academia Española, he was born, raised and died. He was the author of most beautiful romantic poems about Sevilla published in “La sombra de la Giralda” (Under the Giralda´s Shadow).
